Adults 18 and older have the museum all to themselves on Friday evening September 23 for TFI After Dark!
During this special evening, the museum is open exclusively for visitors ages 18 and older from 6:00PM-10:00PM. This “after-hours” celebration grants ticket-buyers exclusive adults-only evening access to The Franklin Institute’s continuing exhibitions, the romantic observatory deck, hands-on science activities, raffles and contests as well as a cash bar (ID required). New area DJ Cool-Out from Scratch Weddings will be setting up a party in The Franklin rotunda. Cocktails and snacks will be available from Frog Commissary!

The Franklin Institute is the only place in the tri-state area to see the captivating new documentary Pearl Jam Twenty for a special one week run. Those attending the September TFI After Dark can be among the very first to see it AND receive a discount on tickets!
In celebration of their 20-year anniversary, Pearl Jam is releasing this definitive portrait of the band as told by Academy AwardÂ®-winning filmmaker and music journalist, Cameron Crowe. Pearl Jam Twenty gives fans and audiences an intimate first glimpse into Pearl Jam’s journey culled from more than 1,200 hours of rarely and never-before-seen footage, over 24 hours of recent interviews with the band, as well as live footage of their spellbinding concert performances. Pearl Jam Twenty runs through September 29 at The Franklin Institute. Showtimes are nightly at 5:15PM, 7:30PM and 9:45PM.
