Founded in 1787 to promote exchange and debate of medical information. Mutter Museum was opened in 1858 and contains pathological specimens and medical memorabilia one of the few medical museums in the world. Great Hall built in 1909 in classical Renaissance style. Foyer, several halls and library, medicinal herb garden for various types/sizes parties. Octagonal marble rotunda with marble grand staircase. Meeting and banquet halls with brass chandeliers, mahogany paneling, fireplace, large windows and 22-foot ceilings.
