Ancient Texts and Modern Treats


This month, the touring Dead Sea Scrolls arrive at the Franklin Institute and we here at Frog Commissary couldn’t be more excited. Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times includes twenty of the scrolls found in the Dead Sea excavation of 1947—the earliest biblical texts ever discovered
. Visitors can also see a three-ton stone from Jerusalem’s Western Wall, limestone ossuaries from the early Roman period and limestone capitals from the first temple period. read more

   Frog Commissary welcomes Ginger Bickley to the Frog team as Director of Sales and Catering. Ginger comes to Frog Commissary with years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry. Prior to joining Frog, Ginger was Director of Catering for Brulee Catering at The National Constitution Center
. Additionally, Ginger’s career experience includes Sales Account Executive for Global Events Partners Philadelphia (GEP Philly). Her responsibilities for business development and client relationships together with her energy and enthusiasm helped drive significant growth at the company. Ginger started her journey in the catering industry focusing on sales and event planning for Feast Your Eyes, one of Philadelphia’s premiere off-premise catering companies.
